Purpose:  Fun, Food and Fellowship is the Saturday Niter's Motto.  This group plans different activities throughout the year for anyone who is interested in fellowship, fun and a night out with friends.

History and activities:
In the 1950's, a group of interested couples formed a "Couples Club".  Many lifetime friendships were formed through this fellowship.  Members took turns as officers and planners of programs.

In 1986 we had a name change and became the "Saturday Niters" making everyone feel welcome (couples and singles).

In that year Jackie and Ron Masters took over the duties of President and Program Organizer.  They have continued in these positions ever since.  They plan about 5 or 6 varied activities each year.  These get-togethers have helped many from the Riverside Congregation, as well as outside acquaintances, become better acquainted and make new friends.  The average attendance ranges from 30 to 60 at each event.  Programs include viewing special performances in the community, trips and unusual entertainment at the church.  Dinners are held at various restaurants and also in the church dining area.  There are no yearly dues, all activities are paid by those attending.
