Laura came to Riverside May 21, 2007 as Minister. There was a Covenant Service between Laura and Riverside Church on October 14, 2007 to confirm their ministry together.

Laura is originally from Decatur, Alabama. She attended Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama for her undergraduate in Family and Childhood Development. She attended Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA for her Masters in Divinity.

Laura started her career as an Associate Minister at Kenmore Presbyterian Church from 1992 to 1995. She has also been called to Shortsville Presbyterian Church as a Solo Minister from 1995 to 2002 and to the Presbytery of Geneva as a Stated Clerk from 2002 to 2005.

Laura married Stuart Buisch in May of 1998. Stuart is also clergy; he is employed as a Campus Minister at the University of Buffalo and works as a Minister of University Students at University Presbyterian Church. They have two beautiful daughters Quineth and Madeleine.

Laura enjoys reading, walking and playing with her children. She loves preaching, teaching and meeting new people.
