One of the reasons many visitors to Riverside come back and become members is they feel the fellowship and hospitality of Riverside, including refreshments after worship services each week. |

Saturday Niters Fun, food and fellowship are the key words for the Saturday Niters. This group plans five or six different activities throughout the year for anyone who is interested in fellowship, fun and a night out with friends. The group began meeting in the 1950s when several couples formed a "Couples Club". Many lifetime friendships were formed through this fellowship. Members took turns as officers and planners of programs. In 1986 we had a name change and became the "Saturday Niters" making everyone feel welcome (couples and singles). |

Riverside Workers The women of the church gather together to prepare for the annual Snowflake Bazaar, held the first weekend in November, to earn money for mission projects and to beautify the church. The group also collects money for a scholarship fund for people continuing their education beyond high school. The Bazaar includes homemade crafts, a book sale to benefit the scholarship fund, a bake sale, a basement full of treasures, lunch and a Chiavetta’s barbeque. Much work and many hands go into such a big project here at Riverside. Workshops to create the crafts and plan the Bazaar are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from January through October. |

Youth Group Youth activities, service to the community and worship are planned by the youth themselves throughout the year. Groups are based on age. See the Youth Page for details of current activities. |

There was a wedding in Cana. 3When the wine gave out, the mother of Jesus said to Jesus, “They have no wine.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” 6There were six stone water jars for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding 20 or 30 gallons. Jesus said to them, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. When the steward tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from he called the bridegroom, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and then the inferior wine after the guests have become drunk. But you have kept the good wine until now.” |
