When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain; and after he sat down, his disciples came to him. |

We read, listen and discuss scripture together during worship, Bible study classes, while in committee and group meetings and during Sunday School. The Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament provide us with guidelines for our lives by showing us how God has interacted with God’s people throughout the ages, offering us comfort and inspiration in times of trouble and a way to express our gratitude and joy in times of comfort and thanksgiving. Many of our studies are guided by a Lectionary, either the daily listing in a two-year cycle from the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship, or the interdenominational Revised Common Lectionary three-year cycle for Sundays and festivals. Both provide a disciplined way to read the Bible and immerse yourself in the depth and breadth of Scripture.

Monday Lunch Bible Study Noon Mondays: bring your lunch and your Bible. We read and discuss the lectionary texts for the following Sunday.
Sunday School: Pre-K through grade 5. The children come to 11 AM worship with their families, then, after the congregation greets each other with the signs of Christ’s peace, the children gather at the front of the sanctuary for a special time with the service leader. After prayer they are dismissed to their Sunday School classes.
