Purpose:   To oversee the care and support of our members.

Our Mission:
This committee does lots of "little" things for the church to keep it running smoothly.  We support our program coordinator, come up with ideas on how to grow our church through improving different processes such as name badges and pew cards.  In addition we host our Community Faire each May and have also just started hosting in November of 2002 a Coffee Nite at Riverside with live music.

Riverside Community Faire:
The Church Growth committee plans and organizes the Riverside Community Faire each year.  We hold this special event each year on the first Sunday in the month of May.  During this event, each of our church's groups/committees and non-related church groups (that use the church as their meeting place) have a table with displays of what they do, how you can join or volunteer for a special project or event.  The purpose of this annual event is to get our members and non-members of the church more involved in our community and to learn more about what goes on in our church community.  There is always lots of food and fun at our faire each year.  

Riverside Coffee Nite:
In November 2002, our committee hosted its first Coffee Nite on November 15th that featured live music performed by Cindy Ransom.  We served many delicious desserts with coffee or tea.  Tickets were sold for this event in advanced and at the door.  For our first coffee nite we had a good size crowd and hope to turn this event into a tradition.
