Purpose:  To provide handbell music selections for worship services at Riverside on a regular basis, usually once a month from September to May or June. We currently have 12 bell choir members.

Rehearsal schedule:  We rehearse once a week on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9PM from September to June and ring in church worship services once a month.

Highlights of past years:
In past years, when our bell choir has had more than 12 teenage ringers, we gave bell ringing performances at service clubs, at other churches and hospitals and nursing homes. 

Come and join us:
We are always striving to interest a sufficiently large number of school age children (5th grade and older) to form a youth ringing choir.  It takes a minimum of about six ringers to organize such a group.

To join the group (young or old) contact the church office or simply come to a scheduled bell rehearsal and introduce yourself; you will be cheerfully welcomed.  It is not necessary to have previous knowledge of music, nor is it necessary to be a member of Riverside Church.
